The spiral UV lamp ReptiZoo UVB 2.0 is suitable for terrariums that are supposed to imitate an environment with low transmission of sunlight - 2 % transmission of UV radiation

UV radiation is necessary for the proper metabolic processes of reptiles and amphibians. However, it does not pass through the glass walls of the terrarium and therefore it needs to be secured in another way. UV lamps will serve us for this purpose. These produce both UVA and UVB radiation.

UVA radiation in reptiles and amphibians increases their appetite, increases their activity and supports their reproductive activity.
UVB radiation helps create vitamin D3, which is necessary for the proper metabolic absorption of calcium from food and its deposition in bones and other organs.
