The filter has an innovative backwash system for automatic cleaning, a multi-layer mechanical and biological filtration system containing 60 bio balls and three layers of bio and filter sponges to remove unwanted impurities and to multiply beneficial bacteria.

Replacing the UV lamp:
A) Open the lid and remove the central tube through which the water flows.
B) Carefully remove the glass tube.
C) Remove the inserted UV lamp tube, then remove the bezel. Replace the UV lamp, attach the sleeve, put in the glass tube and put back.
